The Instruments Of The NQHO
It has been said that the the triangle is the only orchestral instrument not to have changed since 1900. The unique character of the sound of the New Queen’s Hall Orchestra is largely defined by it’s choice of instruments, which were those in common use around 1900. The instruments of the NQHO are all original, not copies, and were manufactured during the period from 1895 to about 1930.
